Online/ Phone Counselling
I am a qualified and fully insured online and telephone counsellor. There are many reasons why online or telephone counselling may be more suitable for some people than face-to-face counselling. For example, remote counselling becomes accessible for those with a disability or illness that make it difficult or impossible to leave the house. Anyone who struggles with anxiety outside of their home may also prefer online or phone alternatives to counselling. Additionally, people who struggle with their appearance or body image may choose telephone counselling.
My online and telephone sessions are £35 for 50 minutes. I offer a free 50 minute initial meeting on the phone or Zoom as a chance for us to meet and for you to see if you feel I could be the right counsellor for you.
If you are looking to start therapy online or over the phone, here are some things to consider:
Do you have a confidential space where you won’t be interrupted or overheard?
Is your internet connection reliable and fast enough to use video calling software?
Does anyone else have access to your phone/ electrical device?
If you have any other questions about whether you feel online/ phone counselling could work for you, please feel free to get in touch and I will be happy to help you with any queries or concerns.
Face to Face Counselling
One of the two counselling rooms I work from is in Hastings town centre - a ten minute walk from Hastings train station and with nearby parking.
The other counselling room is located in central Eastbourne, which is less than a ten minute walk from Eastbourne train station and with nearby parking. Please note there is currently no wheelchair access and there is one flight of stairs to get to the counselling room.
I offer an introductory session at a reduced rate of £25, which is a chance for us to meet and for you to decide if you feel I am going to be the right counsellor for you. After this point, each session costs £35.
Counselling sessions are always 50 minutes long and are on a one-to-one basis. We can meet each other on a long-term (ongoing) or short-term basis. If you decide short-term counselling is best for you, we can come up with a set number of sessions that you feel would be right for you in your introductory session.
